Development and Operations (DevOps)

Blue Guardian is working with our government clients to improve communication between business units, including Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations organizations. Development and Operations (DevOps). Our focus in this area has been primarily in implementing automation, including build automation, release automation, test automation, platform creation and configuration automation and employs the relatively new concept of configuration of code where scripts that are responsible for configuration of systems that applications are deployed are stored in Source Control Management (SCM) systems alongside the code that requires them. Through implementation of DevOps principles, our clients have seen improvements in the amount of time and resources needed to implement changes across test and production environments. Additional improvements in the number of rollbacks required and time to rollback, due to testing of deployment and rollback processes across environments which adds another layer of quality assurance and validation to the Product Development process.
